Under the guidance of Professor Otsuka from the Department of Social Rehabilitation, seminar students are holding collaboration events with 'SOMPO Style Children's Cafeteria,' which is operated by SOMPO Care Co., Ltd. at residential facilities including nursing homes.

'SOMPO Style Children's Cafeteria' aims to make these homes multi-generational exchange hubs for local residents, bringing vitality and smiles to the elderly (residents), fostering further job satisfaction for staff, and contributing to social issues surrounding children. In March 2023, Kobe City and Sompo Japan Insurance Inc. signed a comprehensive partnership agreement with the aim of fostering regional human resources and realizing the happiness of each citizen through co-creation for the rich future society of Kobe. This collaboration with our university began as one of the projects under that agreement.
