Kobe City University of Foreign Studies Recruiting Participants for "KOBE CITIZENS’ CHAT CAFÉ," an International Exchange Event to Enjoy Speaking Foreign Languages with International and University Students

Kobe City University of Foreign Studies (hereinafter referred to as "the University") is engaged in a wide range of activities including regional contribution, international exchange, education, and research. In order to promote the appeal of the University, we are implementing the "Kobe CUFS Appeal Promotion Project."

As part of this "Kobe CUFS Appeal Promotion Project," we will be holding English and Spanish sessions of the "KOBE CITIZENS’ CHAT CAFÉ," an event aimed at multicultural exchange between participants and University students (including international students).

The Spanish session, which is a new addition this year, will be held on Saturday, May 30th.

We invite anyone interested in international exchange or who would like to speak in a foreign language to join us.

2. Content

This is an international exchange event where University students act as conversation facilitators, engaging in foreign language discussions with participants. It provides a multicultural exchange platform where opinions can be exchanged from diverse perspectives through foreign language discussions.

Operated by University students (international students and Japanese students).

Since the establishment of its predecessor, Kobe City College of Foreign Studies, the University has been committed to teaching and researching foreign languages, international society, and culture, and to fostering individuals with broad knowledge and well-rounded personalities who can thrive with an international perspective in various fields such as business, diplomacy, education, and research. We also engage in a wide range of activities including regional contribution, international exchange, and research.

Therefore, in order to further develop and expand the various meaningful activities carried out by students and faculty, and to widely disseminate information to society, the "Kobe CUFS Appeal Promotion Project Support System" was established in 2017, and donations are widely solicited to support these activities.
