Corporate "Notebook" AI Service Begins Rollout to All Customers
The "Notebook" function of ChatSense allows users to add documents such as PDF and Office files as sources, ask AI questions about selected sources, and generate derivative outputs like summaries, briefings, and slides. This feature has been in a limited preview for some teams, allowing them to test everything from document Q&A to Studio generation. We are now beginning a phased rollout to all customers. Background of the Release
Generative AI, including ChatGPT, is being adopted by many corporations to improve operational efficiency and service quality. "ChatSense," provided by Knowledge Sense, has gained attention for its strengths in providing a secure environment and enabling in-house data retraining, leading to its adoption by over 500 companies, including major corporations listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange Prime Market.

Features of the Function
1. Add files as sources and organize by document
PDF and Office files can be added as sources and managed collectively within Notebooks. Each document has its own dedicated conversational environment, allowing for efficient handling of multiple documents.
2. Supports everything from document Q&A to Studio generation
From document Q&A where users ask AI questions about sources within a Notebook, to generating summaries, briefings, and slides (Studio), all can be completed within a single function. It covers a wide range of business use cases, from understanding documents to creating derivative outputs.
3. Administrator access first, general release next week
Starting today, access will first be opened to administrators, allowing them to organize usage policies and settings within their organizations. General user release is planned for next week. This phased rollout allows for preparation tailored to each company's adoption schedule.
What is the corporate ChatGPT service "ChatSense"?
"ChatGPT" is a type of large language model released by OpenAI in the fall of 2022. ChatSense, provided by Knowledge Sense, is a service that utilizes ChatGPT with enhanced security and cost advantages, aiming to improve the operational efficiency of corporations and local governments. It has the following features:
1. Function to protect chat content from AI learning
This is a common feature available for all plans: Enterprise, Standard, and the free Starter plan.
2. Rich proprietary features, including the ability to share prompts internally
Features for corporate contracts not found in regular ChatGPT. Additionally, features such as bulk member management and folder & drag-and-drop organization are continuously updated, and most of them are available even in the free plan.
3. ChatSense has no initial setup fee and no minimum usage period
To address the concerns of companies who want to try before they buy, we have lowered the adoption hurdle as much as possible and expanded the scope of free usage.
