“My employment gap is too long, and I’m afraid to take the first step...”. Are you harboring such feelings alone?

Seeing peers of the same age succeeding on social media makes you want to throw your smartphone away.
The more you think “I have to work,” the heavier your body feels, and you can’t move.
Right now, you feel there is absolutely nothing you can write on your resume...

If you are in this darkness right now, please know this. This video is not planned to scold you, but to help you get out of that darkness together.

Periods of being NEET or unemployed can happen to anyone. It is by no means “being spoiled” or “laziness.”
It’s just that various factors such as disrupted life rhythms, decline in physical strength, loss of confidence, and anxiety about interacting with others have piled up, making it difficult to start moving.

Kizuki Business College (KBC), an employment transition support facility, will distribute for free an archived video of an online seminar held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, aimed at making the restart from a period of unemployment a reality.

## Program Details
In this video, based on the experience cultivated on the front lines by a support professional with 20 years in the welfare industry, we will convey the following three points:
- Factors hindering the return to society
- Steps to proceed without overexertion
- Real-life examples of those who have successfully returned to society

Anyone can become unemployed. It is absolutely not true that you are the only one facing problems.
You don’t need to make a drastic change all at once. It’s okay to start by just knowing “how to move forward.”

## Speaker Profile
Kenta Kato
Area Manager, Kizuki Business College (KBC)
Joined Kizuki in 2023. Originally working as a childcare worker, he became interested in supporting people with disabilities after taking charge of children with disabilities, and transitioned to the disability welfare field.
Feeling uncomfortable with the current situation where support policies are sometimes decided somewhat based on senses or empirical rules of supporters, he joined Kizuki as a Service Management Manager with the idea of “wanting to provide evidence-based support.”
Highly evaluated for earning deep trust from users, he was appointed as the manager of a new base in August 2024.
