To those suffering from school refusal, social withdrawal (hikikomori), developmental disorders, depression, and more.
"Will my child's future be closed off forever?"
"With this gap from being a shut-in and not going to school, are there any chances left for me?"
This is a story we want to share, especially with parents and individuals who find themselves in such darkness right now.
These real-life experiences will be shared at an online dialogue event hosted by Kizuki Kyoiku Juku, featuring our CEO, Yusuke Yasuda, and a graduate, Kanta Yamamoto.
From five years of living as a shut-in, he was accepted into Aoyama Gakuin University. Afterward, he joined the major company BizReach and is now an entrepreneur with an annual turnover exceeding 100 million yen.
This isn't a story about someone special from a distant world. It's the true story of a young man who knocked on the door of "Kizuki Kyoiku Juku" 12 years ago.
School refusal and social withdrawal are not the "end" of life. In fact, there is a future that can be grasped precisely because of these experiences.
■ "If it weren't for Kizuki back then, I'd still be in darkness."
"If it weren't for Kizuki back then, I'd still be in darkness."
So says our guest for this event, Kanta Yamamoto.
A young man who, after refusing to attend school, dropping out of high school, and a long period of social withdrawal, knocked on the door of "Kizuki Kyoiku Juku" with trembling legs. From there, he was accepted into Aoyama Gakuin University, worked at a major corporation, and has now become an entrepreneur fighting on the front lines of society.
It has been 15 years since Kizuki was born in a single room of an apartment in Sugamo. The progress of our graduates like him has continued to push us forward in our aim to "create a society where you can start over as many times as you need."
This event is a special live dialogue commemorating the release of a Kizuki Kyoiku Juku YouTube video on Tuesday, April 14th, featuring Kanta Yamamoto (video link provided later).
Kizuki Kyoiku Juku's CEO, Yusuke Yasuda, and graduate Kanta Yamamoto will speak about their own experiences and thoughts.
In a live format, we will frankly share the internal conflicts not fully covered in the video and a raw, real message for "you who are currently in anxiety with no visible exit."
■ Event Content: From School Refusal to a Top University, and then an Entrepreneur!?
This event is not just a presentation of a success story. It is a time for parents and individuals currently in darkness to feel that this is a "change that could happen to them" on a personal level.
1. Delving into the reality after dropping out of high school.
We will convey the true, unvarnished reality that only those who have been through it can describe—the state of mind amidst the anxiety of "Is there no path left for me if I quit school?" and the feeling of isolation as if cut off from society.
2. There was a common thread in the triggers for a comeback!
Taking that first step from rock bottom was by no means because of some special talent. We will unravel the "common points" that emerged from the experiences of both Yasuda and Yamamoto, who faced difficulties, and the small triggers that create change.
3. A message to those currently in darkness.
There is a reason we can declare, "Your current state is by no means the end of your life." To the parents and children who see no way out and continue to blame themselves, two people who actually changed their futures will deliver the message they most want to convey right now.
