KIZAWA Co., Ltd. will exhibit at Lifestyle Week [Summer] (Fashion & Lifestyle Goods EXPO).

At our booth, we will primarily showcase the 'Coolia' series, featuring radiative cooling fabric 'Radi-Cool,' and the 'Pattofold' series, which incorporates a patented guide panel on the inner side of the umbrella to enable easy folding.

We will also display a wide range of best-selling and new products that have received high praise through our e-commerce sales, aiming to create new business opportunities with retailers, specialty stores, lifestyle shops, and distributors.

'Coolia' Series Featuring Radiative Cooling Fabric 'Radi-Cool'

As attention to parasols increases for combating recent extreme heat, the 'Coolia' series adopts the radiative cooling fabric 'Radi-Cool.'

While traditional parasols primarily aim to block sunlight, Radi-Cool technology suppresses fabric temperature rise by absorbing and emitting heat. This has been proven to deliver a heat-shielding effect of '-48.5°C'※ in third-party testing.

At our booth, visitors can view various models, including lightweight versions, automatic open-close models, and full-length umbrella types.

※Test conducted by a third-party institution: Artificial sunlight lamps irradiated from above the umbrella for 30 minutes in an environment of approximately 25°C. Temperature was measured using a thermal camera on a mannequin's head placed beneath the umbrella.

'Pattofold' Series Solving the Challenges of Folding Umbrellas

Today, parasols and folding umbrellas are expected to offer more than just UV protection and lightweight design.

The ability to neatly fold the umbrella after use has become an important factor, increasing attention toward 'easy-to-fold umbrellas.'

KIZAWA's 'Pattofold' series features a unique guide panel based on patented technology. This allows the umbrella fabric to be smoothly aligned during folding, reducing storage effort and enabling a neat, tidy fold.

The series includes two types: manual open-close and automatic open-close models. Both use Toray-manufactured carbon fiber for the main ribs, combining lightness with flexibility and durability.

Colors include black, off-white, as well as greige and pink, offering a total of five color options. The design is not only functional but also stylish, making it a fashionable accessory.

At the exhibition, visitors can experience firsthand the ease of folding enabled by the guide panel by opening and closing the umbrellas.

Additionally, some main ribs of the 'Pattofold' series use Toray's Torelina® T700SC carbon fiber, resulting in a product that is both lightweight and flexible.
