Our company endorses April Dream, which designates April 1st as "The Day to Announce Dreams."
This press release is a declaration of the future that Kiyohime Onsen Co., Ltd. genuinely wishes to realize.

110 years since its founding.
As times change, we continue to ask ourselves:
"For whom do hot springs exist?"
One of the answers was to transform hot spring trips that people thought "might be impossible" into experiences where they'd say, "Let's come again."
As the oldest inn in the Hinatayama Onsen village, we are undertaking two challenges for the next 100 years.

## 1. Transforming 'It Might Be Impossible' into 'Let's Come Again' Hot Spring Trips

"I want to go to a hot spring. But considering the burden of assistance and movement, it seems difficult."
Many families give up on travel for this reason.
We want to change that 'giving up'.
"onsen garden Yumotoan Kiyohime" offers a space where guests can relax without worrying about their surroundings, as an inn with all detached rooms and open-air baths.
The layout allows for wheelchair access from the front desk to the guest rooms, and the stay style, which can be completed within the room, reduces the burden of movement and consideration for others.
Two of the 13 rooms are designed as "universal design rooms" where guests can stay comfortably regardless of age or physical condition.
The detached rooms "Ayatsuki-an" and "Yuzuki-an" are equipped with movable open-air baths where the height of the bathtub can be adjusted, allowing for safe bathing when used with a dedicated chair.
Furthermore, we have established systems such as:
- Rental of wheelchairs, shower chairs, and bath lifts
- Individual consultation for care meals
- Prior reservation of parking spaces for disabled guests
The natural hot spring, flowing directly from the source, is also known as "Bihada no Yu" (hot spring for beautiful skin), soothing not only the body but also the mind.
The time spent here transforms trips that were once thought "might be impossible" into experiences where one thinks, "Let's come again."
That is the hot spring trip we wish to provide.

## 2. Connecting Hot Spring Culture to the Future with the Community

What we want to protect is not just the history of our inn.
It is the hot spring culture itself that thrives in this land.
Hinatayama Onsen has a history of over 800 years and has walked alongside people's lives since ancient times.
Historically, it is said to be a hot spring area visited by Saigo Takamori.
However, culture does not survive merely by existing.
It is only when it is used, cherished, and passed down that it connects to the future.
With this in mind, we are engaged in activities to nurture hot spring culture together with the community.
In Hinatayama Onsen, "Yokui" (bathing education) activities are continuously held annually in collaboration with local elementary schools, and our inn plays a part in this.
At the hot spring facilities, children learn the importance of protecting hot springs through cleaning experiences, learn proper bathing methods and manners, and experience the history and charm of hot springs.
This experience transforms hot springs from "something to use" into "something to protect and connect."
Bathing is also an important culture that fosters physical and mental health.
Through these initiatives, children develop affection and pride for hot springs, connecting the regional culture to the next generation.

## Our Dream

To create hot spring trips where 'it might be impossible' turns into 'let's come again.'
And to connect hot spring culture to the future with the community.
Beyond 110 years of establishment.
Kiyohime Onsen will continue its challenges for the next 100 years.
