KINUJO Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Tomoaki Hamada), which develops hair care appliances, has released the "KINUJO Pro Hair Dryer Straight Handle" on Monday, March 23, 2026. This new model inherits the specifications of the popular "KINUJO Pro Hair Dryer" from the salon-exclusive "KINUJO Pro Series" and eliminates the folding handle.
The KINUJO Pro Series is exclusively distributed in salons.
Background of Development: Seeking Variety as a "Tool" for Salon Work
Since its launch in 2021, the "KINUJO Pro Hair Dryer" has been adopted in approximately 10,000 salons nationwide, thanks to its industry-leading airflow of 2.3㎥/min and its ultra-lightweight design.
Until now, we have only offered a "folding type" for portability and storage convenience. However, we have received numerous passionate requests from stylists working in demanding salon environments, who use their tools dozens or hundreds of times a day, asking for a "straight handle that offers a more direct sense of operation."
This new model features an integrated structure without a movable part (folding section). It maintains the "stable center of gravity balance" as a professional tool, offering a specialized model that stylists can choose based on their preferences.

I have used dryers from various manufacturers, but the fact that there are no contact failures, which can occur with folding types, and that it has never malfunctioned even in a high-usage environment at the salon is a significant strength.
It also reduces the operational burden of repairs and support, which is a great help for the salon.
Furthermore, the balance of airflow, temperature, and weight is excellent, making it easy to handle in daily salon work, and I can feel the ease of blow-drying. It's a very attractive dryer because it allows for flexible control of the finish, such as when I want to add shine or volume, and I can finely adjust the airflow direction and point operations.
