Full of Shima's Charm! 'Shima Festival 2026 Early Summer' Hosted by Kintetsu Real Estate!

Kintetsu Real Estate Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tennoji-ku, Osaka; President: Takatoshi Kurahashi), with support from Shima City and Kintetsu Railway Co., Ltd., will host 'Shima Festival 2026 Early Summer.' This festival aims to showcase the charms of Shima through seminars, exhibitions, and events, fostering regional revitalization and encouraging tourism. This marks the third installment of the festival.

'Shima Festival 2026 Early Summer' will be held over two days, May 30 (Sat) and May 31 (Sun), 2026, at two locations: 'Ise-Shima Plat HOME,' a community hub with a co-working cafe opened last April in front of Kintetsu Ugata Station, and 'Shima Green Adventure,' an activity resort facility.

At the first venue, 'Ise-Shima Plat HOME,' themed 'Full of Shima's Charm!', Day 1 will feature a lecture entitled 'Let's Learn About Ise-Shima National Park!' by the Ministry of the Environment to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the park's designation. A workshop involving crafts made from marine debris will also be held. Day 2 will feature an Erhu concert by local enthusiasts living in Shima.

Numerous events supported by Shima residents will be held, including a 'Flower Arrangement Class' by local florists, as well as sales of apple pies and vegetables, all designed to promote the area's appeal.

At the second venue, 'Shima Green Adventure,' the glamping field will host a dog run opening and a trial session for a dog spa equipped with microbubbles, following the success of the previous event. Additionally, on Day 1, a dog consultation session will be held by the dog preschool Pee-Ka-Boo.

Tenants of Ugata Family Plaza, including restaurants where 'Ise-Shima Plat HOME' is located, are also cooperating in the event. We look forward to welcoming everyone to 'Shima Festival 2026 Early Summer' to experience the best of Shima.
