The campaign features a program where guests can participate by writing their wishes on traditional strips of paper. Prizes include accommodation vouchers for rooms with open-air baths worth up to 100,000 yen, discount vouchers, and experiences in traditional Japanese culture.

Kinnotake Group views its ryokans not merely as lodging, but as places to engage with Japan's seasons and culture. Through this campaign, the group aims to offer guests a rare chance to reflect on their goals and express their heartfelt wishes, creating a lasting memory of their time in Hakone.

Kinnotake Tounosawa is hosting a Tanabata event themed around the concept of 'revisiting in one year,' designed so guests can carry the joy of future visits back home with them. Guests who post their wishes in the dedicated box will be entered into a raffle for accommodation vouchers. During the campaign, the hotel will also sell the Tanabata-exclusive cocktail, 'Milky Way.'

[Matsuzakaya Honten] Participatory Tanabata Event Celebrating Tradition
Matsuzakaya Honten, with over 360 years of history, will set up bamboo decorations in its 'Irori no Ma' (hearth room). Guests are invited to write their wishes and post them on Instagram to enter a raffle for various prizes on the spot.

Major Prizes: Grand Prize (Discount Vouchers for next use), Runner-up Prizes (In-house credit, original bath salts, and 'Ryocance' cultural activity experiences such as armor wearing, tea ceremony, and kimono dressing).

At the end of the campaign, all wishes collected at both facilities will be dedicated at Hakone Shrine.
