Kinko's Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Hiroki Watanabe; hereinafter, Kinko's) will collaborate with Minato City to establish tourist information centers. Following this, a signing ceremony was held on March 30, 2026, at the Kinko's Shinagawa store within the ward, attended by Minato City Mayor (Ms. Ai Seike) and our company's Representative Director and President. Tourist information centers will be opened in five Kinko's stores in Minato City, strengthening information dissemination to residents and visitors, and promoting tourism within the ward and regional revitalization. This initiative will also connect to creating new recipients of tourist information, including working individuals.

[Five Stores in the Ward as Tourist Information Hubs, Expanding Tourist Flow from Business Areas]

Kinko's has been promoting regional co-creation through initiatives in collaboration with local governments and regions. As part of this, Kinko's will collaborate with Minato City to establish tourist information centers in five Kinko's stores within Minato City (Akasaka-Mitsuke, Toranomon, Shinagawa, Tamachi, Shiodome).

Minato City, as an international area attracting many visitors from both Japan and abroad, has established tourist information centers in various locations within the ward to disseminate tourist information. This initiative aims to create new information touchpoints for local business people, residents, and international tourists by utilizing Kinko's stores, which are used on a daily basis.

All stores are located in major business areas and transportation hubs, providing an environment where people can naturally encounter tourist information during their daily commutes or work breaks.

Why Kinko's as a Tourist Hub? Information Dissemination Utilizing Contact Points with "Working People"

The purpose of this initiative is to leverage Kinko's characteristic of having contact points with customers, primarily corporate users, to deliver tourist information to "working people" who have not been sufficiently reached before. By utilizing store spaces that are used daily, Kinko's aims to create a new way of disseminating information that naturally conveys the charm of the region to visitors who are not specifically there for tourism, encouraging them to visit and explore the area.

"Experiential" Information Utilizing Store Space

At Kinko's Shinagawa store, a special booth-style corner has been set up, designing a flow that allows visitors to naturally stop by and access information. The exhibits and fixtures utilize Kinko's print services and production know-how, creating a space that conveys information visually and experientially. In the future, Kinko's will also develop regional collaboration projects, such as exhibiting works from the Minato City Tourism Photo Contest, to promote the charm of Minato City in more diverse ways.

Creating Value Together with the Community

Kinko's has previously collaborated with local governments nationwide, including Yokohama City, Kawasaki City, and Saitama Prefecture, to promote regional revitalization. In Minato City, Kinko's has also built a relationship as a "MINATO City Promotion Crew*," and this initiative is an extension of that. Going forward, Kinko's will continue to contribute to enhancing the appeal of Minato City and promote business activities rooted in the community, while advancing information dissemination utilizing special booths and linking with regional events.
