■ Details of the Job Experience 'Challenge Stage Work! ~Let's Play a Wizard~'

In this experience, children will go through a series of processes up to acting out a scene from the stage play 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' as 'stage actors'. Facilitated by a Supervisor (KidZania staff who support the children's experience), they will learn about the job of a stage actor and the overview of the work, and then perform warm-up exercises such as stretching and vocalization. Subsequently, they will wear Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry robes, receive scripts, undergo role introductions and casting announcements, and then rehearse.

The actual performance is a scene from the stage play 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child'. It is a scene featuring Harry Potter's son, Albus Potter, and Draco Malfoy's son, Scorpius Malfoy. The children are divided into 3 groups and play their respective 'Albus' and 'Scorpius'. The real thrill of the stage experience is being able to compare the differences in how people other than yourself play the same role.

■ State of the Special Event 'Wand Dance & Talk Show'

- Opening
While the music of the stage play 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' played, Chion Sato, Chiko Deguchi, and 4 children appeared from the runway in the Central Square. They performed a dynamic 'Wand Dance' using magic wands that also appear in the play, enveloping the venue in the worldview of magic.

- 'Challenge Stage Work! ~Let's Play a Wizard~' Demonstration
Wearing Hogwarts robes, the children authentically experienced everything from stretching to reading the script and character introductions under the progression of the Supervisor. One child representative performed a scene from the stage play with Sato and Deguchi. Receiving advice from Sato and Deguchi, the child powerfully played the boy who is the central character of the story, receiving loud applause from the audience.

- Talk Show
The children asked questions to Sato and Deguchi. When a child asked, 'What magic do you cast on yourself when you are nervous during an actual performance?', Sato replied, 'First, make a solid effort to the point where you can think, "I've prepared this much, so I should be fine!" Another thing, when you lack self-confidence, is to trust the many colleagues who are creating the stage together with you.' Deguchi answered, 'Before the show, I do light stretching or jump around to move my body and boost my mood. Also, to not get nervous, I cast a magic spell on myself saying "Just like always!".'

- Question Corner
We asked Sato and Deguchi, who had finished the event, about what they keep in mind when standing on stage and the appeal of acting.
