KidZania Fukuoka will host its first "Randoseru Workshop" during Golden Week 2026, offering children a hands-on experience to create mini-randoseru and learn about craftsmanship.

Implementation Period: May 2 (Sat) - May 6 (Wed/Holiday), 2026

Ikeda-ya Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture; Representative Director and President: Kazuhisa Nagaoka; hereinafter "Ikeda-ya") and KCJ GROUP Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Michinari Tsuburaya; hereinafter "KCJ GROUP"), which plans and operates "KidZania," a children's vocational and social experience facility, will open a limited-time "Randoseru Workshop" pavilion (hereinafter "this pavilion") at "KidZania Fukuoka" (Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture) from May 2 (Sat) to May 6 (Wed/Holiday), 2026. This will be the first time for this event to be held at KidZania Fukuoka.

The "Randoseru Workshop," an annual event at KidZania Koshien, will make its debut at KidZania Fukuoka for a limited period during Golden Week.

At this pavilion, children will learn about the history, techniques, and passion behind Japanese craftsmanship embodied in randoseru as "Randoseru Craftsmen." They will use the same tools as real craftsmen to create mini-randoseru, approximately 1/10 the size of actual ones. Children who experienced this at KidZania Koshien have commented, "Through the experience, I was able to feel the spirit of the craftsmen," and "I decided to cherish my own randoseru even more."

Ikeda-ya and KCJ GROUP hope that through this experience, children, who will lead the future, will learn about the unique skills of craftsmen, the importance of preparation, and how randoseru are carefully made through continuous ingenuity, thereby deepening their interest in manufacturing.
