Certified NPO Kidsdoor (Location: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; Chairperson: Yumiko Watanabe) will co-host a free seminar titled 'Expanding Corporate Value and Impact through Corporate × NPO Co-creation' with gooddo Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Keisuke Shimogaki) of the Septeni Group. The event, aimed at corporate CSR and sustainability managers, will be held in Tokyo on Friday, June 5, 2026.

In recent years, the social role expected of companies has changed significantly. Involvement in solving social issues is attracting attention not merely as philanthropy but as a strategic initiative that leads to enhanced corporate value and business growth. Among these efforts, co-creation with NPOs is gaining interest as a highly effective method because it allows companies to access issues and perspectives they cannot reach alone. On the other hand, many companies struggle with questions such as, 'How should we partner with an NPO?' or 'How can we involve internal stakeholders and turn it into a continuous effort?' Against the backdrop of these challenges, this seminar will explore the significance of co-creation between companies and NPOs, as well as key practical points, from both expert insights and specific corporate case studies.

Learn the 'Secrets of Co-creation Success' from Expert Insights and Corporate Practices

On the day of the event, Junko Shimizu, a full-time lecturer at Musashino University who specializes in collaborations between corporations, NPOs, and citizens, will be invited to explain the background and social significance of 'Why corporate co-creation with NPOs is required now' from a theoretical perspective. Furthermore, Shin Higuchi, Executive Officer of Orbis Inc., which has practiced various co-creations with Kidsdoor, will take the stage. He will talk about specific examples of how to involve internal teams, tips for making initiatives successful, and the 'reality of co-creation' including its challenges. In the latter half of the seminar, time will be set aside for participants to exchange information and network, providing an opportunity to directly share challenges and hints faced by their respective companies.
