20th Kids Design Award: "Tokyo Metropolitan Government Subsidy for Exhibition Fees for Products Considering Children's Safety" Officially Decided

The "Tokyo Metropolitan Government Subsidy for Exhibition Fees for Products Considering Children's Safety," which fully subsidizes the examination fees for the 20th Kids Design Award hosted by the Certified NPO Kids Design Council*, has been officially decided.

20th Kids Design Award "Tokyo Metropolitan Government Subsidy for Exhibition Fees for Products Considering Children's Safety"

<Purpose>

To promote the development and dissemination of products that consider children's safety by fully subsidizing the examination fees for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Tokyo applying to the "Safety and Security Improvement" category of the Kids Design Award.

<Eligibility>

To receive the subsidy, all of the following conditions must be met:

① The applicant category must be the "Safety and Security Improvement" category, and the characteristics of the submitted work must be recognized as aligning with the purpose of this category.

② The applicant must be a small or medium-sized enterprise or sole proprietor as defined by Article 2 of the Small and Medium-sized Enterprise Basic Act.

③ The head office location listed on the corporate registration certificate must be within the Tokyo Metropolitan area.

*Note: There may be cases where applicants do not qualify even if they meet conditions ① to ③. Please refer to the details below.

<Subsidy Details>

The full examination fee of 66,000 yen (including tax) will be subsidized, regardless of the examination results.

<Application Documents>

① Application form for the "Tokyo Metropolitan Government Subsidy for Exhibition Fees for Products Considering Children's Safety"

② Corporate registration certificate of the applying company or organization (issued within 3 months prior to the application date)

　*For sole proprietors, the "Notification of Commencement/Cessation of Business"

③ Documents showing the number of employees (e.g., company brochure, printout of company website)

<Application Method>

① Please check the "Application for Tokyo Metropolitan Government Examination Fee Subsidy" field on the submitted work registration screen within your My Page on the Kids Design Award website.

② Download the application form from the "Tokyo Metropolitan Government Subsidy for Exhibition Fees for Products Considering Children's Safety" page on the Kids Design Award website, fill it out, and email the above application documents to the Kids Design Award Secretariat.
