Yonabaru Town, Okinawa, Officially Introduces 'Obstetrics, Gynecology & Pediatrics Online' from April 2026

On this occasion, Kids Public Inc. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative: Naoya Hashimoto) has partnered with Yonabaru Town, Shimajiri-gun, Okinawa Prefecture (Mayor: Tsutomu Teruya) to begin providing 'Obstetrics, Gynecology & Pediatrics Online', operated by the company, as a service for Yonabaru Town residents starting April 1, 2026.

Yonabaru Town had been trialing this service since January 1, 2026, and based on the results of its use by residents, it has now been officially adopted. By establishing an environment where residents can easily consult obstetricians, midwives, and pediatricians from their home smartphones, we will continue to provide support to ensure they can experience pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare with greater peace of mind.

Background to the Introduction of 'Obstetrics, Gynecology & Pediatrics Online' In Yonabaru Town, a 'life-course approach' is promoted, aiming for lifelong health promotion from fetal stage to old age. Maternal and child health measures, which form the foundation of this approach and are the starting point for health maintenance and disease prevention, are positioned as extremely important for the town.

Recently, in Yonabaru Town as well, due to changes in social structure, there has been a growing trend of women feeling isolated due to a lack of close confidants regarding pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare. About the 'Obstetrics, Gynecology & Pediatrics Online' Service Available in Yonabaru Town, Okinawa Prefecture (Partial) Residents of Yonabaru Town, Okinawa Prefecture, can consult pediatricians, obstetricians, and midwives online for free.
