Ii Heya Net Town Livability Ranking 2025: Resident Evaluation Data (Data Collection) for All National Municipalities Released on Website

Daito Trust Construction Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director, President and CEO: Hiroshi Takeuchi) has compiled resident evaluation data used in the largest-ever resident satisfaction survey, the "Ii Heya Net Town Livability Ranking 2025," for all 1,890 municipalities nationwide. This data was made publicly available on the "Livability Ranking" website starting Wednesday, May 13th. Previously, detailed data was provided to interested municipalities. However, since 2023, by making resident evaluation data compiled for each municipality available as Excel files, anyone can freely download it. This valuable survey, which allows for cross-sectional comparison of municipalities nationwide, has become useful data for local government officials in policy planning and other initiatives. This survey targeted 845,588 men and women aged 20 and over living in 1,890 municipalities nationwide. Its objective is to help people make optimal housing choices and realize happy living by clarifying how people actually living in those towns feel about them. End of report Overview of Ii Heya Net Town Livability Ranking 2025 Data Collection 1. Evaluation data for all 1,890 municipalities released Evaluation data from residents in all 1,890 municipalities surveyed is published in Excel data. (However, data with an evaluation deviation value of less than 50 is not displayed.) 2. Not only national version, but also prefecture-specific sheets released The Excel data is divided by sheets, with the first three sheets being "Survey Overview_National Version," "Respondents by Prefecture," and "00_National." Subsequent sheets are by prefecture, from "01_Hokkaido" in the north to "47_Okinawa," including data for all 47 prefectures. This is convenient for officials in each municipality who want to check details within their prefecture. 3. Evaluation data by 8 factors related to livability, etc., also released This survey asked 47 questions related to livability, which, as a result of factor analysis, are classified into eight categories: "Daily Convenience," "Transportation Convenience," "Administrative Services," "Quietness & Security," "Friendliness," "Liveliness," "Prices & Rent," and "Disaster Prevention." The Excel data also includes scores for these eight factors. In addition, survey results regarding feelings towards the town, such as "want to continue living," "proud," and "attached," are also included. By analyzing this detailed data, the characteristics of each municipality can be understood.
