### Kanto Diet Cook Tokorozawa Factory (Miyoshi-machi, Iruma-gun, Saitama Prefecture) Since October 2021, the factory has been donating products, primarily long-life prepared foods, to children's cafeterias and food banks.

Meanwhile, Kanto Diet Cook manufactures fresh prepared foods with short shelf lives and had been considering ways to utilize surplus items that could not be plated. While exploring solutions for various challenges such as delivery methods, timing of use by recipients, and food labeling, the company found a solution this fiscal year. After signing an agreement with a children's cafeteria, the company began providing fresh prepared foods for the first time.

This fiscal year, a total of approximately 6 tons of long-life and fresh prepared foods were provided.

Regarding the provision of fresh prepared foods such as potato salad and pasta salad, there were challenges with ingredient labeling because some items differed from those provided to supermarkets, such as the presence or absence of certain toppings. However, the company standardized the ingredients provided and created a unique ingredient labeling list. By assigning numbers and linking them to the ingredients, they achieved visualization of the ingredient labels.

Since starting the program, they have received joyful feedback about the colorful appearance and the ability to consume vegetables. In December 2025, they received a letter of appreciation from the Saitama Children's Cafeteria Network. They have also received thank-you letters from various organizations and children.

In addition, the company actively engages in community contribution activities, such as regularly conducting cleanup activities around the factory.

Moving forward, the company plans to focus on mutual communication between the factory and children's cafeterias and food banks.

### Diet Cook Shiraoi (Shiraoi-cho, Hokkaido) In Hokkaido, which has the highest potato harvest in Japan, the company manufactures a wide range of potato-based products, including long-life salads—a core product of Kenko Mayonnaise—as well as potato ingredients and packaged prepared foods.

While considering initiatives to reduce food loss, the company approached local food banks and children's cafeterias, beginning donations in August 2024.

This fiscal year, they donated approximately 700kg of potato ingredient products that are easy to use in cooking.

They have received feedback from those who arranged them into various dishes, such as, "Frozen products are easy to use because they have a long shelf life," and "Potato ingredient products are convenient because they can be used in various ways."

### Kanto Diet Egg (Higashimurayama, Tokyo) Starting around 2022, the company began donating to children's cafeterias, focusing on Japanese-style prepared foods. In 2025, they increased the number of donation recipients, donating a total of 300kg for the year.

The "Wasai Bansai®" series, which provides a gorgeous appearance and delicious taste just by plating, is being used as side dishes for bento boxes and meals. They received a thank-you letter stating that the food is delicious and that it is very helpful to be able to use it without effort when making many bento boxes.

"Wasai Bansai® Kinpira Gobo" is based on shredded burdock root and carrots, containing six types of ingredients. It is seasoned with the flavor of sesame oil, making it a perfect match for rice.

### Diet Cook Supply (Fukuyama, Hiroshima Prefecture) Approximately 4 tons of salads and Japanese-style prepared foods were provided to non-profit organizations and general incorporated associations within Hiroshima Prefecture throughout the year.

Diet Cook Supply is actively engaged in community contribution and food loss reduction, including through its "Fukuyama Factory Manager" brand. They have expanded their circle of provision through connections made via the "Fukuyama Factory Manager" brand and introductions from neighboring companies.

Starting in February 2026, a local soccer player academy dormitory was added as a new recipient, and the products are being used as side dishes for the students' meals.

"Fukuyama Factory Manager" is a brand created by Diet Cook Supply and various people in Fukuyama City, bringing together wisdom and technology under the concept of "Turning troubles into charm."

They sell products utilizing non-standard ingredients produced locally in Hiroshima that cannot be brought to market due to their shape or blemishes. They offer items such as calzones and seasonal pickles.

### Kyushu Diet Cook (Saga City, Saga Prefecture) Donations to Food Bank Saga began in 2023, marking the third year this fiscal year.

For the provision of goods, the company visited the NPO that operates the food bank and the children's cafeterias. Based on feedback from the field, they have made continuous improvements to the products and delivery methods, donating approximately 3 tons annually, once or twice a month.

They provided commercial-use salads, prepared foods, and boiled eggs, and received words of gratitude: "The quantity is large, and it is helpful to be able to use them immediately for various menus."

Kyushu Diet Cook also engages in waterway cleanup activities around the factory and forest conservation activities with the participation of employees. In addition to continuing these activities, they plan to conduct visits to food banks in the future.
