Makoto Egashira Solo Exhibition 'O-hana Sagashi' April 29 – May 13, 2026

Art goods manufacturer Ken Elephant Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Kenzo Ishiyama) will hold the Makoto Egashira Solo Exhibition 'O-hana Sagashi' from April 29 (Wed) to May 13 (Wed), 2026. This event is the first collaboration between 'VINYL', located in Gransta Tokyo inside the JR Tokyo Station ticket gates, and the flagship store 'Ken-Ele Bunshitsu' in Ochanomizu. Makoto Egashira is an artist who creates three-dimensional works and installations primarily using floral blankets—a common household item in postwar Japan. This exhibition, a joint project with Ken Elephant, will feature different works at each venue: a showcase at 'VINYL' and a pop-up space at 'Ken-Ele Bunshitsu'. Original goods inspired by nostalgic candy store sticker books and 10-yen gum wrappers will also be available. Experience the new charm of the familiar floral blanket as contemporary art.
