Keisei Electric Railway / Keisei Bus Chiba West: Ichikawa-Mama Station Becomes "Ichikawa Mama Station"!

Keisei Electric Railway (Headquarters: Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture, President: Takao Amano) and Keisei Bus Chiba West Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Urayasu City, Chiba Prefecture, President: Takehiro Fujimoto) will change the station name signs and bus stop notations at Ichikawa-Mama Station to "Ichikawa Mama Station" from Saturday, April 25, 2026, to Sunday, May 10, 2026. This is in commemoration of the reading of Ichikawa-Mama as "Ichikawa Mama" and in conjunction with "Mother's Day" on Sunday, May 10th. On Mother's Day itself, events such as a goods sale will be held in collaboration with the Mama Ginza Kai (shopping street). Furthermore, Ichikawa-Mama Station will release "Ichikawa Mama Station Commemorative Tickets" starting Saturday, April 25th. During the period, presenting this commemorative ticket will allow visitors to receive an original Goshuin (temple stamp) exclusive to this project at Mimasan Kōhōji Temple, Temple Office, or Tegona Reijindō. During the same period, the station premises will be decorated with family portraits drawn by local children and carnations. In support of the initiatives of the Public Interest Incorporated Foundation Japan Cancer Society, donation boxes for breast cancer awareness activities and leaflets will also be distributed. Keisei Electric Railway and Keisei Bus Chiba West will continue to promote the enhancement and revitalization of regional appeal in collaboration with local communities.
