Keisei Electric Railway Signs Official Partnership Agreement with MLB and Launches Various Promotions Featuring Los Angeles Dodgers Player Roki Sasaki

Keisei Electric Railway (Headquarters: Ichikawa City, Chiba Prefecture, President: Takao Amano) will enter into an Official Partnership Agreement with Major League Baseball (MLB) starting in fiscal year 2026 and will launch various promotions featuring Roki Sasaki, who plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Keisei Group, including Keisei Electric Railway, operates transportation and other businesses primarily in the Tokyo metropolitan area, supporting the lives of people along its lines. The group also plays a role in Narita Airport transportation and regional tourism promotion, engaging in diverse business activities. The Group Vision for 2030 states, "Contribute to the realization of a sustainable society through co-creation with people in the Keisei Group's business areas and by contributing to the strengthening of Narita Airport, Japan's gateway." Through these various promotions, we aim to generate interest in our group and to widely share our aspirations and diverse initiatives.

■Regarding the Featuring of Los Angeles Dodgers Player Roki Sasaki

Keisei Electric Railway has previously undertaken projects that draw parallels between Roki Sasaki's pitching speed of 160 km/h and the "Keisei Skyliner," which travels at a maximum speed of 160 km/h, connecting Keisei-Ueno Station and Narita Airport Station. We have also promoted the Skyliner's appeal in his hometown region of Tohoku. We have chosen to feature Mr. Sasaki because his sincere dedication and daily efforts to succeed on the world stage resonate with our vision as a comprehensive infrastructure and lifestyle enterprise group that supports safe daily lives, and we see a parallel with our challenges and hopes for the future through airport transportation.

【Roki Sasaki Player Profile】

Born November 3, 2001, Roki Sasaki is a professional baseball player (pitcher/right-handed thrower, right-handed batter) from Rikuzentakata City, Iwate Prefecture. While attending Iwate Prefectural Ofunato High School, he recorded a fastest pitch of 160 km/h, drawing attention as the "Monster of the Reiwa Era." He joined the Chiba Lotte Marines as their first-round draft pick in 2019. In 2022, he achieved a perfect game, the 16th in NPB history, and set a new professional baseball record with 13 consecutive strikeouts. In 2023, he contributed to Japan's victory as a member of the national team at the World Baseball Classic. He then pursued a career in Major League Baseball and currently plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He has made his presence felt in MLB, contributing to his team's World Series championship as a relief pitcher in the 2025 postseason.
