Summer SDGs Fair at the 7th-Floor Event Hall from July 31 (Fri) to August 3 (Mon)!

Keikyu Department Store Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Minami-ku, Yokohama; President: Yoshiaki Shimada; hereinafter 'Keikyu Department Store'), part of the Keikyu Group, will host the 'Summer SDGs Fair' for four days from Friday, July 31, to Monday, August 3, 2026, at the 7th-floor event hall. This event is part of the Keikyu Group's ESG initiatives, developed in collaboration with local government, schools, and business partners.

The fifth edition of the 'Summer SDGs Fair' will feature a mini PR booth by Minami Ward Office promoting GREEN×EXPO 2027—an international horticultural exposition scheduled for March 2027—as well as a 'Family Learning SDGs Corner' with workshops hosted by 10 organizations, including Yokohama City Waterworks Bureau and the Kanagawa Trust Midori Foundation.

On Sunday, August 2, as part of the 30th-anniversary celebration of Keikyu Department Store and Wing Oimachi, floral artist unit dodotokyo—based at an atelier in Keihin Island, Ota Ward—will host a flower workshop titled 'Let’s Create a Blooming Letter.' Message cards and corsages made during the workshop will be incorporated into a large floral art installation planned for autumn to commemorate the store’s 30th anniversary. Participants will also receive a special commemorative sticker.

Additional programs include the 'Kids Department Store Explorer Team' for elementary school children, a photo opportunity with police motorcycles from Minami Police Station, and dance performances by local dance schools, making it a family-friendly four-day event.

**1. [30th Anniversary of Keikyu Department Store & Wing Oimachi] dodotokyo Flower Workshop: 'Let’s Create a Blooming Letter'**

To celebrate the 30th anniversary, Keikyu Department Store & Wing Oimachi is planning a large floral art installation. The message cards and preserved flower corsages created during this workshop will be used as part of the installation to be displayed in autumn. Participants will receive a special '30th Anniversary Commemorative Sticker.'

**(2) Minami Ward Office & Yokohama City Resource Recycling Bureau: 'Learn About Waste and Recycling!'**

In addition to family-friendly games, a consultation desk will be available on plastic waste and updated recycling rules expanding citywide in April 2025.

We will accept unopened, non-perishable food items with at least two months of shelf life that households cannot finish.

A market hosted by 'Weavee,' a child-rearing support network along the Keikyu Line.

**About the Keikyu Line Child-Rearing Support Network 'Weavee'**

Weavee is an initiative by Keikyu Corporation to connect child-rearing circles, communities, and supporting businesses along the Keikyu Line. It aims to create a sustainable local ecosystem where parenting creators can share their skills and passions. The name 'Weavee' combines 'Weave' and 'We,' symbolizing interconnectedness, circulation, and co-creation among parenting creators.

**(4) Keikyu Corporation: 'Design Coasters with Thinning Wood from Miura’s Forest Project'**

Use bamboo from Kanagawa Prefecture to create 'Takadama' ornaments, inspired by Japan’s oldest poetry anthology, the 'Manyoshu.'
