Shiga Prefecture's pride and summer tradition, the "Biwako Great Fireworks Festival," will be held right in front of the Biwako Hotel again this year. Last year, approximately 300,000 people attended (according to organizers), making it a major annual event eagerly anticipated by locals and tourists from outside the prefecture alike. We have prepared various plans again this year so that you can enjoy the powerful display of approximately 10,000 fireworks set against the backdrop of Lake Biwa.
