[Machida] Early Summer Flower Walk: Featuring 2,200 Iris and 6,000 Hydrangea Blooms

Machida Yakushiike Park Shikisai no Mori (Yakushiike and Ebine-en) will hold the 'Shobu-Ajisai Festival' from Saturday, May 30, to Sunday, June 28, 2026.

At Yakushiike Park, 175 varieties and approximately 2,200 irises will be in bloom, creating a unique early summer landscape. Later in the period, 42 varieties and about 1,000 hydrangeas will also begin to color, elegantly adorning the waterside.

In Ebine-en, 17 varieties and about 5,000 hydrangeas will be in full bloom. You can feel the change of seasons in quiet moments while walking along the paths in the shade of the trees.

A moment in early summer when you want to take a leisurely stroll away from daily life. Admission is free, so please enjoy it freely.
