KEAN Health Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Keta Yamaji) develops and provides its own genetic testing and gut flora testing. By comprehensively understanding unchanging genetic factors and environmental factors that change with lifestyle, we support health management optimized for each individual.

As a partner supporting the initiatives of J-POWER Business Service Co., Ltd. – a company selected for five consecutive years as a "Certified Health and Productivity Management Organization 2026 (Large Enterprise Category)" – in leveraging employee health as a management resource, we have begun supporting the introduction of the gut flora test "chatFLORA G."

This project is the next step following the introduction of the genetic test "chatGENE Pro" in fiscal year 2025, which allowed employees to understand their physique. It involves monitoring the gut environment. We continuously support lifestyle improvements from both the perspective of unchanging physique and the changeable gut environment. The design goes beyond simply presenting test results, aiming to connect data to behavioral change.

Background: The Evolution of Health Management Health management is evolving beyond employee welfare to be positioned as a part of management strategy. In recent years, there has been a shift from uniform measures for everyone to individually optimized health support utilizing data.

J-POWER Business Service Co., Ltd., based on the philosophy that "employees working vibrantly and healthily directly leads to service quality and customer satisfaction," has implemented measures such as health lectures and various health measurement events. However, as these were primarily conducted at the head office, the initiatives were concentrated among head office employees, posing a challenge in expanding the reach to local branches.

The situation where participation opportunities were unequal due to physical constraints has been transformed into a system where all employees can participate fairly, regardless of location, by introducing home-based personal testing. Phase 1 Results: Visualizing "Unchanging Elements" Through Genetic Testing Through the genetic test "chatGENE Pro" introduced in fiscal year 2024, employees gained a deeper understanding of their health challenges by grasping their own physique as data.

The main results are as follows: ■ Significant Improvement in Participation Rate While previous initiatives had limited participation, over half of the employees opted for the genetic test, with 443 participants.

Change in Health Awareness Approximately 85% felt an "improvement in health awareness," and about 84% responded that it contributed to an "improvement in well-being awareness." ※ Survey Respondents: 176 individuals

Creation of Specific Behavioral Changes Voluntary behavioral changes based on physique data were observed, such as "Understanding that exercise is more effective than dietary restrictions for my constitution, I made using the stairs a habit" and "I started to reduce my intake of salt and fats."

These results demonstrate that a data-driven individual approach, rather than uniform health measures, is an effective means of eliciting voluntary behavior from employees. Phase 2: Monitoring "Changeable Elements" Through Gut Flora Testing With this introduction, the initiative moves from the stage of "understanding one's inherent constitution" to "monitoring the current...
