New au Financial Service Expands "Point Up Rewards (Auto-Charge Benefit)" to Annual Fee-Free au PAY Card

au Payment Co., Ltd. and au Financial Service Co., Ltd. will merge on July 1, 2026, and launch as the new au Financial Service. On the same day, the "Point Up Rewards (Auto-Charge Benefit)," previously available only to au PAY Gold Card members, will be expanded to include au PAY Card members who have an annual fee-free card. This will increase the point return rate when shopping with au PAY, allowing for even greater savings.

Additionally, a campaign will be held to distribute a total of 100 million Ponta points among customers who use auto-charge from au PAY Card to au PAY balance.

Expansion of "Point Up Rewards (Auto-Charge Benefit)" to Annual Fee-Free au PAY Card (for customers contracting with au/UQ mobile/povo1.0)

From July 1, 2026, the "Point Up Rewards (Auto-Charge Benefit)" will be expanded to include the annual fee-free au PAY Card. When you auto-charge from your au PAY Card to your au PAY balance, Ponta points will be returned at a rate of up to 5% for au PAY Gold Card and up to 1.5% for au PAY Card, depending on the achievement status of the conditions. Combined with the points earned when using au PAY, this results in a maximum Ponta point return of 5.5% for au PAY Gold Card and up to 2.0% for au PAY Card.

This benefit is available to au PAY Gold Card and au PAY Card members who have contracts with au, UQ mobile, or povo1.0.

<Benefit Details>

For each of the achievement conditions 1 to 5 each month, Ponta points will be returned based on the auto-charge amount, according to the achievement status.

* Auto-charge requires advance setup. Only available to customers contracting with au/UQ mobile/povo1.0.

* The annual fee for the au PAY Card is permanently free. The au PAY Gold Card has an annual fee of 11,000 yen.

* For every 100 yen (including tax) spent, up to 5 points are returned for the au PAY Gold Card, and for every 200 yen (including tax) spent, up to 3 points are returned for the au PAY Card.

* The return limit is 1,000 Ponta points per month for the au PAY Gold Card and 500 Ponta points per month for the au PAY Card.

1. Benefit Overview

Benefit

Customers who use auto-charge from "au PAY Card" or "au PAY Gold Card" to au PAY balance at least once during the campaign period will receive a share of a total of 100 million Ponta points.

* Only auto-charge to au PAY balance (shortfall charge, fixed amount charge) is eligible.

* The upper limit for benefit points awarded is 200 Ponta points.

* Benefit determination is scheduled for late November 2026, and benefit awarding is scheduled for late December 2026.

Eligibility Criteria

Benefits will be awarded to customers who meet the following conditions:

- Auto-charge to au PAY balance using au PAY Card or au PAY Gold Card during the campaign period.

* Auto-charge requires advance setup. Only available to customers contracting with au/UQ mobile/povo1.0.

* Only auto-charge (shortfall charge, fixed amount charge) to au PAY balance using au PAY Card (including au PAY Gold Card) is eligible. Auto-charge via au Simple Payment, au Jibun Bank, charge with a specified amount using au PAY Card (including au PAY Gold Card), and charge via au Simple Payment (communication charge combined payment) when paying communication fees with au PAY Card (including au PAY Gold Card) are not eligible.

* If you have two au PAY Cards due to applying for a new design card switch, your card type/line will be determined based on the information of the new design card.
