KDDI iret Corporation announced that it will begin offering three new services on May 15, 2026, to support the adoption and use of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The services combine the company’s experience in cloud and multi-cloud implementation with advanced technologies, covering each phase from initial OCI assessment and technical validation to production operations. The three services are organized around cost estimation, technical proof of concept (PoC), and operations automation. They are designed to help companies adopt OCI in a phased and reliable manner, enabling smoother decision-making before adoption and stable operations after deployment. As enterprise cloud use becomes more advanced and diverse, interest in multi-cloud environments including OCI is growing, particularly for cost optimization and performance improvement. However, differences in pricing structures and design philosophies across cloud platforms make it difficult for companies to estimate costs and determine optimal architectures before adoption. Building PoC environments also requires specialized expertise and time, preventing some companies from conducting sufficient validation before making deployment decisions. In production operations, continued reliance on manual release work and individual-specific processes can hinder operational quality and development speed. The newly launched services can be selected or combined according to each company’s evaluation stage and challenges. The first is a free OCI cost diagnosis service, which reviews the configuration of a company’s existing on-premises or other cloud environment and proposes cost estimates and optimal architecture options for migration to cloud platforms including OCI under the same conditions. The second is an OCI technical verification PoC environment construction service, which builds an OCI PoC environment in as little as two weeks, with engineers familiar with OCI supporting infrastructure design and implementation so customers can focus on validation. The third is an OCI DevOps CI/CD implementation support service, which builds a CI/CD foundation on OCI to automate and standardize release work, reducing manual errors and dependence on specific individuals. Pricing will be quoted individually based on customer requirements. KDDI iret said it has built extensive OCI migration experience since joining the Cloud Sell Track of Oracle PartnerNetwork in October 2020, including the full migration of a large-scale core system running on more than 100 virtual and physical servers to OCI. Since February 2025, the company has also offered OCI through its cloudpack cloud support service, including OCI billing agency services, OCI implementation and migration support, and OCI monitoring and operations maintenance. In April 2026, KDDI iret launched four OCI generative AI implementation support services, followed in May by three services to support early recovery from ransomware damage.
