[FY2026] Scholarship for Medical Students Supporting the Future of Pediatric Medicine: Application Acceptance Begins April 1st (Wed)

To promote the development of pediatric medicine, healthcare, and health maintenance, the Kawano Pediatric Medicine Scholarship Foundation (Location: Kawagoe City, Saitama Prefecture; Chairman: Yukio Kawano / Representative Director and Chairman of Blue Zone Holdings Co., Ltd. and Yaoko Co., Ltd.), which provides research grants to pediatric medical researchers and scholarships to medical students aspiring to pediatric medicine, will begin accepting applications for the 2026 scholarship grant on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.

■ Application Overview

● Purpose To support the training and production of future leaders in the pediatric medical field.

● Eligibility University students who graduated from a high school in Saitama or Chiba Prefecture and aspire to pediatric medicine at a general university medical school or medical college in Japan, as well as graduate students engaged in pediatric medical research.

● Grant Amount and Benefits for Scholars [Grant Amount] 70,000 yen per month (no repayment required) * Can be used with other scholarships. Any school year is acceptable as long as eligibility requirements are met.
