Kawaijuku Group's KEI Advanced Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Kenji Suzuki; hereinafter "KEI Advanced") announced on June 30, 2026, a capital and business alliance with zero to one Inc. (Headquarters: Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture; CEO: Ryuji Takekawa; hereinafter "zero to one"), a company that develops and provides educational programs utilizing AI and data science. With this alliance, zero to one has become part of the Kawaijuku Group.

Moving forward, the synergy between zero to one's expertise in developing educational content centered on AI and digital fields and the Kawaijuku Group's network and R&D infrastructure will aim to create new educational services required in the AI era and expand learning opportunities beyond generations, regions, and organizations.

Background and Objectives of Group Integration

With the mission "To foster the ability to live vibrantly with society," zero to one has been developing and providing educational programs focused on AI and digital fields since its establishment in 2016. Welcoming experts in the AI field such as Yutaka Matsuo, Professor at the Graduate School of the University of Tokyo, and Takahiro Okuno, Professor at the Graduate School of Tohoku University, as well as specialists in education such as Toru Iiyoshi, Professor at Kyoto University, as advisors and supervisors, the company develops high-quality online educational programs through industry-academia collaboration, including "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence," "Deep Learning," and "Data Literacy."

KEI Advanced, with its mission "To contribute to personal growth through corporate activities," provides a wide range of solutions to universities nationwide concerning student recruitment, public relations, admissions, academics, career and qualification preparation, and university management. Future Initiatives

Educational programs utilizing AI and digital technologies will be developed and offered to individuals from junior high school and high school students to seniors, tailored to their respective learning stages and objectives.

2. Development of New Educational Content Leveraging Industry-Academia Collaboration Expertise

In collaboration with university researchers, experts in various fields, and corporations, new educational content and programs will be jointly developed not only in AI and digital fields but also in a wide range of areas such as pre-enrollment education, inquiry-based learning, human resource development, and entrepreneurship support.

3. Strengthening of Online Examination Business and Development/Deployment of New Examination Methods

By combining zero to one's system and operational expertise, including the "Sakura Cloud Examination," with the Kawaijuku Group's expertise in test administration and operation, such as the "Zento Mock Examination," the functionality, reliability, and operational structure of the online examination platform will be enhanced.

4. Expansion of Regional Human Resource Development and AI/Digital Utilization Support in Collaboration with National and Local Governments

Leveraging zero to one's expertise in regional human resource development and AI/digital utilization support, particularly in Sendai City, along with the Kawaijuku Group's network, human resources, experience, and know-how, efforts will be made to expand these initiatives to other regions.

5. Creation of New Services and Global Business Utilizing Educational Data and AI

In collaboration with both companies and research institutions such as Tohoku University, initiatives will be undertaken to optimize learning individually, visualize outcomes, and enhance teaching materials and assessment methods, while aiming to create new educational businesses with a view to global expansion.
