Kawaijuku Dalton School Nagoya to Hold GW Special Program on April 30 (Thu) and May 1 (Fri), 2026!

Dalton School Nagoya, part of the Kawaijuku Group which provides early childhood and elementary education, will hold a two-day Golden Week (GW) special program on Thursday, April 30 and Friday, May 1, for 1 and 2-year-olds, and 1st to 3rd-grade elementary students. We support children's learning under themes tailored to their age and grade level. For 1 and 2-year-olds, parents participate alongside their children to experience our unique program that stimulates the child's intellectual curiosity.

■ Two days to experience Dalton School's unique projects

In early childhood, learning through senses and movement forms the foundation of cognitive development. It is crucial to nurture curiosity and independent learning through exploration and physical experiences.

At Dalton School, we set themes based on children's interests according to their development, conduct inquiry from multiple perspectives, and foster the 'ability to think' while having fun.

This time, Dalton School Nagoya will offer a program that nurtures the basics of language, cognition, and social skills through play utilizing the five senses and hands.

In the 1-year-old program, 'Let's Play Hide-and-Seek', children and parents vocalize the names, colors, shapes, and characteristics of 'animals' and 'food' hidden in boxes, cloth, or cards. Through this and 'Balloon Play', tactile, auditory, and visual senses are stimulated, cultivating the foundation of social skills through interaction with parents.

In the 2-year-old program, children think about the sizes of objects using various materials of different dimensions. Also, by dynamically and freely enjoying art using easels, paints, and brushes, they experience motor functions and the joy of expression.

Furthermore, in the 'Saturday Program Workshop' for 1st to 3rd graders, we have prepared a program to enjoy science using robots and familiar items.
