Fostering Science and Engineering Talent through Industry-Academia Collaboration
In recent years, the development of science and engineering professionals with advanced specialized knowledge has become a critical issue in the manufacturing industry. This lecture is an initiative where universities and companies collaborate to provide students with opportunities to experience manufacturing sites from an early stage. Furthermore, this lecture contributes to the cultivation of next-generation engineers who will support regional industries in Ibaraki Prefecture, an area with a high concentration of manufacturing.
As a company rooted in the Ibaraki region, we believe it is an important mission to convey the role and appeal of manufacturing to students.
This is our first attempt to host a lecture of this scale, accepting approximately 100 students from educational institutions like universities to our factory, making it one of our largest events to date.
About the Ibaraki Factory
The Ibaraki Factory is one of our core manufacturing bases, producing crane vehicles such as rough terrain cranes and all-terrain cranes. These construction cranes are widely used at sites supporting Japan's social infrastructure, including bridge construction, building projects, and infrastructure development.
