Cocoon City (Saitama Shintoshin) Wins "Innovate Award" at the 28th Developer Award Selected by Tenants, Hosted by Senken Shimbun!

We are pleased to announce that Cocoon City, a commercial area on Katakura's owned land in front of JR Saitama-Shintoshin Station, has received the "Innovate Award" at the "28th (FY2025) Developer Award Selected by Tenants," hosted by Senken Shimbun.

1. About the "Developer Award & Tenant Award" This award was established by Senken Shimbun in 1998 to build the ideal form of evolving shopping centers, and consists of the Developer Award selected by leading tenants nationwide and the Tenant Award selected by leading developers nationwide.

2. Reasons for the Award In FY2025, Cocoon City actively promoted renewals with a focus on the experiential value of physical stores and responsiveness to local needs, while also working to form a tenant mix suitable for the times, including not only retail but also food & beverage and services. In addition, efforts to strengthen sales, customer attraction, and tenant collaboration, as well as improvements in facility cleanliness and overall service aspects such as the food court, were comprehensively evaluated, leading to the Innovate Award.
