Hydrangea Festival to be held at Mikairi Waterfall, one of Japan's 100 Best Waterfalls

The Hydrangea Festival will be held at Mikairi Waterfall in Ouchi-cho, Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture.

Around the waterfall, which is selected as one of Japan's 100 Best Waterfalls and boasts one of the largest drops in Kyushu, 40,000 hydrangeas of 50 varieties will be in full bloom along the path.

## Temporary Parking
- Passenger cars: 500 yen
- Motorcycles: 300 yen
- Large vehicles (microbus and larger): 3,000 yen
*Large vehicles are free on weekdays.

## Free Shuttle Bus within the Venue
- Operating days: Saturdays and Sundays during the event
- Route: Between Hotaru Bridge and the foot of Mikairi Waterfall
*Waiting times may occur during congestion.
- Operated by: Karatsu City

## Permanent Free Parking (Available on weekdays only during the event)
- Mikairi Waterfall Parking (Downstream): 20 passenger cars
- Mikairi Waterfall Parking (Upstream): 9 passenger cars
*Hotaru Bridge Parking is unavailable during the event.

- Time: 19:20 – 22:00 (Every day during the event)

## Firefly Watching
- Location: Near Hotaru Bridge to the downstream of Mikairi Waterfall
- Period: Late May – mid-June
