Three Long-Established Incense Companies Co-Create the 'Scent of the Future'. Limited Release at 'Kaori Expo 2026' as 'TRINEX <Mirai Sanko>'

The Kaori Expo Executive Committee (Kyukyodo, Shoyeido, Nippon Kodo) will release the limited-edition incense series 'TRINEX <Mirai Sanko>' in limited quantities starting April 18 (Incense Day) alongside 'Kaori Expo 2026'. This series was born from the co-creation of three long-established incense companies.

'TRINEX <Mirai Sanko>' is a limited series jointly developed by Kyukyodo, Shoyeido, and Nippon Kodo (TRI) under the concept of 'NEXUS (connecting) scents to the NEXT (future)', based on the Kaori Expo 2026 theme 'Where Scents Meet Tomorrow'.

With over 300 years of history, the three companies—each with different manufacturing methods, blending techniques, cultures, and sensibilities—have created 'scents of the future' from their respective viewpoints, handling everything from planning to manufacturing.

Kyukyodo presents 'Strawberry Parfait', a pop expression of the future scent with a sweet, sour, and light impression.

Shoyeido offers 'MISORA', a scent imagining the future space with the soft sweetness of resin and a refreshing feeling based on sandalwood.

Nippon Kodo brings 'Heritage Hybrid 2026', a mineral scent blending cypress and frankincense to evoke rock, water, and air.

The packaging adopts a graphical design based on three symbolic colors for each scent. The sides feature hologram processing to express a futuristic look that changes with light. The price is 1,760 yen (tax included) each. They will be sold in limited quantities starting Saturday, April 18, at stores participating in 'Kaori Expo 2026' (excluding some stores).
