Kobe Airport 20th Anniversary Special Commemorative Event "Kobe Airport Run"

Kansai Airports Kobe Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce that the Kobe Airport Morning Run event (Kobe Airport Run) will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, as a special project to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Kobe Airport's opening.

This event will be held following last year's event, and this year it will be held to commemorate the milestone of Kobe Airport's 20th anniversary. On the day of the event, participants can start in front of Kobe Airport Terminal 2 in the early morning before airport operations begin, and run on the taxiways and runways. This is a special event where participants can enjoy running in an airport area that is normally inaccessible.

Kansai Airports Group will continue to work to deliver the charm of airports and travel to everyone through initiatives that customers can enjoy.

○ Date and Time: Saturday, June 6, 2026 ① General Division 4:30 AM - 5:25 AM, ② Parent-Child Division 4:45 AM - 5:25 AM

○ Location: Near Kobe Airport Terminal 2 and within the airport restricted area

○ Content: Running on taxiways and runways before airport operations begin

① General Division: Approximately 5.0 km / Time limit 55 minutes / 4:30 AM start / 200 participants

② Parent-Child Division: Approximately 3.0 km / Time limit 40 minutes / 4:45 AM start / 100 participants (50 pairs)

○ Eligibility: ① 18 years or older, ② Elementary or junior high school students and their guardians

○ Capacity: ① 200 participants, ② 100 participants (50 pairs) - both on a first-come, first-served basis

○ Participation Fee: ① 7,000 yen (tax included) / person ② 7,000 yen (tax included) / 2 people per pair

*Includes participation prize, insurance, etc.
