Kobe Airport 20th Anniversary Special Event: "Kobe Airport Run"

Kansai Airports Kobe Co., Ltd. is pleased to announce the "Kobe Airport Morning Run Event (Kobe Airport Run)" as a special project to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Kobe Airport's opening, to be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026.

This event is being held again following last year's successful run, and this year it commemorates the milestone of Kobe Airport's 20th anniversary. On the day of the event, participants will start from in front of Kobe Airport Terminal 2 in the early morning, before airport operations begin, and will be able to run on the taxiways and runways. This is a special event where participants can enjoy running in areas of the airport that are usually off-limits.

The Kansai Airports Group will continue its efforts to deliver the charm of airports and travel to everyone through initiatives that customers can enjoy.

○ Content: Running on taxiways, runways, etc., before the start of airport operations

② Parent-Child Category: Approximately 3.0 km / 40-minute time limit / Starts 4:45 AM / 100 participants (50 pairs)

○ Eligibility:
① 18 years old and above
② Elementary or junior high school students and their guardians

○ Capacity:
① 200 participants
② 100 participants / 50 pairs (both on a first-come, first-served basis)

○ Participation Fee:
① 7,000 JPY (tax included) / person
② 7,000 JPY (tax included) / 2 persons per pair
*Includes participation prize, insurance fees, etc.

○ Notes:
・Public transportation is not operating in the early morning. Participation is limited to those who can come by car, etc.
・When coming by car, a separate parking fee will be required (150 JPY/hour).
・Identification documents (driver's license, My Number Card (notification card not accepted), or student ID with photo) are required on the day of the event.
・The event may be changed or canceled due to severe weather or other facility management reasons. (Small rain will not cancel the event).
