From Haneda to the World! Haneda International Junior High School to Open in April 2026

Kanno Gakuen Educational Foundation (Location: Ota-ku, Tokyo; Chairman: Yuichiro Kanno) is pleased to announce the **new opening of "Haneda International Junior High School" in April 2026**.

Since its establishment, the foundation has upheld the three school mottos of "Purity (Sei)," "Prudence (Shin)," and "Diligence (Kin)," and has set its educational goal as **"Nurturing individuals who are beautiful in mind and appearance, value compassion, and act independently towards their goals."**

Furthermore, based on the concept of **"Think Globally, Act Locally,"** Haneda International Junior High School was established to steadily instill "Glocal" thinking (Glocal Thinking), which combines global and local perspectives, over the six years of junior and senior high school, in order to live proactively and creatively in a diversifying and globalizing society.

To Be Trusted by Society and Contribute to Society: "WINGS Program"

While flexibly adapting to a rapidly changing society, we at Haneda International also value the universal and important idea of **"being trusted by those around us and living while being useful to others."** We believe in the irreplaceable potential residing in each student and call our students "WINGS." The **"WINGS Program"** was created to give wind to those wings and help students soar into an unknown world.

1. WINGS Exploration ~Learning to Encounter the World and Connect with Society~

In integrated studies, each student takes ownership of their learning and acquires the skills and responsible behavior required by society, in collaboration with subject education, school events, and glocal education.

2. Glocal Education ~No Borders Between Japan and the World~

At Haneda International, we believe that true globalization is not just about increasing an overseas orientation, but about perceiving everything in the world as "our own business." We foster a "Glocal Mind" that naturally encompasses both domestic and international perspectives, while accepting different cultures and accepting oneself and others.

3. BLENDED Learning ~"Strengthening Academic Ability" x "Polishing Intellect"~

By literally blending significantly increased major subject classes with various ICT tools and monthly interviews, we cultivate solid academic abilities.

4. School Life ~Achieve as a Team, Grow Together~

School events will include experiential events such as sports festivals, international exchange, overseas training, nature classes, and 20km hikes, where students can learn and achieve with enjoyment. In the After School Program (ASP), various clubs and courses are being considered.

As the first step in recruiting its second-year students, Haneda International Junior High School will hold a **Kick-off Meeting (Preliminary Information Session) on April 18th (Saturday)!** On that day, in addition to an overview of the educational philosophy, educational concept, and school life, we will provide the **latest information on the "current state" of the new Haneda International Junior High School**, which has welcomed its first-year students! We invite everyone to participate!
