Completion Ceremony of Kanematsu Petro Northern Terminal

Kanematsu Petro Co., Ltd. (hereinafter 'the Company') held a completion ceremony for the 'Kanematsu Petro Northern Terminal' in Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture, on April 10, 2026.

The ceremony was attended by major affiliated companies, including the partner Hokubu Transport Co., Ltd., to celebrate the successful completion of the construction and to pray for safe operations in the future.

The Kanematsu Petro Northern Terminal is an inland LP gas shipping base newly developed by the Company, which began operations in April. It is a facility that integrates both storage and shipping functions for LP gas.

The environment surrounding LP gas in Japan is requiring a greater strengthening of operational capabilities, including the delivery aspect, due to expanding supply-demand fluctuations and manifesting logistics constraints. The establishment of new LP gas shipping bases is a vital initiative for building a stable supply and delivery system.

The new facility will contribute to the construction of a stable and efficient energy supply system as a core hub responsible for broad-area LP gas supply, mainly in the Northern Kanto region.

Furthermore, it is positioned as a sales base supporting the nationwide supply system of the Kanematsu Group.

With the completion of this terminal, the Company aims to further strengthen its logistics and supply systems while striving to improve the level of stable LP gas supply and safety management.
