Kaneka Corporation has launched 'KANEKA OLED CRAFTS,' a new interior lighting series using its proprietary OLED panels. Designed by Masashi Hoshina, the collection blends craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, offering both functional illumination and artistic presence even when turned off.

Kaneka Corporation (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazuhiko Fujii) launched a new lighting series, 'KANEKA OLED CRAFTS,' on Wednesday, May 13, utilizing its organic EL lighting 'KANEKA OLED' panels. The design was led by Masashi Hoshina (※2), founder of Arflex Japan Co., Ltd. (※1) and current representative of C.O.D. Co., Ltd. On the same day, Kaneka hosted a launch event for professionals in architecture and interior design.

KANEKA OLED is a lighting source that emits uniform light across the entire panel surface, creating depth and three-dimensionality. Its soft, diffused light minimizes glare, and its natural daylight-like coloration allows colors and textures of objects to appear in their true, beautiful form.

KANEKA OLED CRAFTS was conceived as a vessel to house this light source. Craftsmanship and the beauty of artisanal work are intricately expressed in every detail, with handmade characteristics adding rich expression that complements people's lifestyles. When illuminated, it casts beautiful shadows that enhance the space; even when turned off, it harmonizes quietly as interior décor.

As the first lineup of KANEKA OLED CRAFTS, three products—portable table lamps 'T-Lamp' (available in S and L sizes) and a floor lamp '4SIDE'—are now available through the Kaneka Online Shop (※3) and Arflex Tokyo. Future plans include expanding the range with additional products such as table lamps and pendant lights.
