The "National Kamaboko Exhibition" is an annual competition organized by the Japan Kamaboko Association since 1947 (Showa 22) under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.
This year, seven products were selected for the highest prize, the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Award, from among 750 entries nationwide, and our "Chōtokusen Date-maki Koō" was among them.

For this reason, date-maki is cherished as one of these lucky charms. This product is named by combining the wish for longevity with the age of 'Koki' (70 years old), making it an exquisite item suitable for celebratory meals and gifts on special occasions.
