Currently, hop production, essential for brewing beer, faces extremely severe realities: heavy manual labor, serious labor shortages, and declining production due to a lack of successors. The difficulty in securing personnel, especially during harvest season, is a major challenge that threatens the foundation of domestic hop production.
We believe that a vibrant production area is essential for continuously delivering delicious drinks to customers. This beer uses 100% "Sorachi Ace" hops (*), a legendary hop developed by Sapporo Beer in 1984 and loved by brewers worldwide. It features a distinctive and refreshing aroma reminiscent of cypress and lemongrass. The goal is to propose a new way to enjoy beer, "choosing beer by hop," with a dream of "eventually producing SORACHI 1984 with 100% domestic Sorachi Ace hops."
