[New Product] Kärcher Launches Industrial Sweeper "KM 130/300 R I" Series

Kärcher Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kohoku-ku, Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, President: Gen Hikinami), the Japanese subsidiary of Kärcher, the world's largest manufacturer of cleaning equipment, based in Germany, will launch the industrial sweeper "KM 130/300 R I" series, consisting of the diesel-powered "KM 130/300 R I D" and the battery-powered "KM 130/300 R I Bp". The diesel model will be available for sale sequentially from July 1, 2026 (Wed).

Reduces cleaning load in summer, contributing to the health of workers and the maintenance of the work environment.

Due to recent extreme heat, heatstroke countermeasures and ensuring occupational safety are becoming increasingly important for outdoor work. This product efficiently cleans large areas with accumulated dust and sand, boasting a maximum cleaning capacity of 13,000 m2/h. It reduces working time while maintaining traditional cleaning quality, contributing to the reduction of physical burden on workers in hot environments.

Furthermore, it helps maintain the work environment by suppressing the scattering of accumulated dust, which is a challenge at construction sites, industrial waste recycling plants, and asphalt/concrete plants.

This product is part of Kärcher's "Go! Further" total cleaning solution. "Go! Further" is an initiative to develop products and services that contribute to solving social issues under the mid-term management plan "Strategy 2030." Through this product, we aim to contribute to the realization of a sustainable society and the maintenance of the health of people working on site.

1. Efficiently cleans wide areas in dusty environments

Cleans large sites with accumulated dust and sand efficiently with a maximum cleaning capacity of 13,000 m2/h.

Uses a V-shaped brush that collects debris towards the center, efficiently collecting everything from coarse debris to fine dust.

Side brushes sweep the edges, preventing missed spots even when the machine turns.

2. Robustness and stable suction power for harsh environments

Robust construction suitable for use in dusty environments and on uneven surfaces.

Employs a method that physically scrapes dust from the filter, preventing clogging. Maintains strong suction power until the end of the work and prevents dust blow-out.

3. Improved maintainability and operability

For main brush height adjustment, a brush wear indicator allows for quick identification of the optimal lever position, reducing adjustment time.

An LED light below the lever indicates the container's position and whether the lid is open or closed. This prevents issues such as dust scattering due to incorrect lever operation or the need to re-clean.

Structural improvements for tool-free brush replacement have reduced the number of screws to be removed during replacement, making it easier to install brushes and reducing the workload.

4. Battery-powered model "KM 130/300 R I Bp" offers extended continuous operation time and higher maximum speed.

The battery-powered model "KM 130/300 R I Bp" extends continuous operation time from 2 hours to a maximum of 3.5 hours compared to previous models. The maximum speed has also increased from 7 km/h to 8 km/h, achieving high work efficiency as a battery-powered model.
