Unleash Your Child's Talent: New "English x Art" Program Launches

Global Learner’s Institute (GLI), a consulting-style English education institution focused on preparing students for boarding schools both domestically and internationally, will host a new program, 'Messy Masterpiece,' which fuses English and art, at its GLI Hiroo campus in May, June, and September 2026. This program is an inquiry-based art program designed not just for skill acquisition, but to cultivate "the ability to think," "the ability to ask questions," and "the ability to express oneself in one's own words."

## Cultivating the Ability to "Think About the World" Through Art

Generally, "art" tends to be perceived as a descriptive technique, but it is fundamentally a thought process of how to perceive the world, how to question it, and how to express it.

Through artwork creation, this program naturally fosters:
- A multifaceted perspective on things
- The ability to formulate one's own questions
- The ability to verbalize emotions and thoughts

By incorporating dialogue and expression in English, it simultaneously enhances the "thinking skills x communication skills" required in international society.

## The "Courage to Challenge" Needed in an Era Without Right Answers

This program does not aim for "drawing well."

What is emphasized is:
- Challenging the unknown
- Liberation from fixed ideas
- Expression without fear of failure

We welcome professional artist GOLNOOSH as an instructor, and under her support, participants will experience the essence of art. For beginners, it provides a successful experience of "I can do it too," and for experienced individuals, it offers further deepening of expression.

## A World of Expression Expanded by Three Painting Techniques

In this program, participants will challenge three different painting techniques.

May: Pastel
June: Watercolor
September: Mixed Media

For each technique, participants will acquire basic skills and simultaneously explore the expressive intentions and worldviews behind them.
