We support April Dream, an initiative to make April 1st a day for sharing dreams. This press release represents the dream of the Japan Youth Career Support Association.

The Japan Youth Career Support Association (hereinafter JYC) is pleased to announce the selection for "MIRAI CREATOR'Z 2026," an awards project to visualize the talents of young people shaping the future.

This project will select a total of 3,000 young people across 30 categories, active in diverse fields such as education, welfare, community development, entrepreneurship, technology, research, art, and traditional culture. Furthermore, a large-scale event with 1,000 attendees is scheduled for September 2026 to honor the "TOP CREATOR’Z" representing each category.

About MIRAI CREATOR'Z 2026

MIRAI CREATOR'Z is one of Japan's largest youth awards projects, developed by JYC.

Embodying JYC's mission to "Create a 'present' where all youth can continue to take on challenges," the project aims to shine a spotlight on 3,000 Gen Z youths active in various fields, visualize hidden human capital, and spark new social innovation.

One of the unique features of this project is its "youth recommending youth" mechanism. Through a structure where selected youths recommend their peers, we aim to bring possibilities that only same-generation individuals can discover to society.

What We Aim to Achieve with MIRAI CREATOR'Z 2026

MIRAI CREATOR'Z 2026 aims to shine a light not only on youths who are already in the spotlight but also on talent that has not yet been sufficiently discovered.

There are many young people across the country who are acting on their own questions, proactively working for their communities and society, and continuing to challenge themselves through trial and error, regardless of major awards or titles.

However, the reality is that many of these individuals are unable to connect with society, as their value and potential are not fully visualized or appreciated.

This project aims to systematically uncover these challenges, articulate and visualize their value, and open them up to society. By doing so, we will build a foundation to reveal previously overlooked human capital and connect it with appropriate opportunities and resources.

Through this project, our organization aims to create opportunities for each young person to feel that "my efforts have been recognized by society" and "I have been fairly evaluated," thereby supporting their future endeavors.

About the Certification Program and Awards Ceremony

MIRAI CREATOR'Z 2026 plans to select youths across 30 categories. We will widely discover young people active in various fields and communicate their activities and the passion behind them to society.

Furthermore, we plan to hold a 1,000-person awards ceremony in September 2026. This event will not only celebrate the youths representing each category but also aim to create a venue for new connections among youths, companies, educational institutions, and local communities.

We envision MIRAI CREATOR'Z as a sustainable mechanism where selection becomes the starting point for new opportunities and connections.

Comment from the MIRAI CREATOR'Z Project Leader

JYC aims to develop MIRAI CREATOR'Z not as a single-year certification project, but as a platform that continuously discovers the challenges of young people and connects them to society.

I have seen many young people with the potential to create the next generation who are not discovered despite their efforts. That is why we want to expand a system where each individual's challenge leads to the next opportunity, through a cycle of certification, introduction, awards, and recommendations by ambassadors.

We hope this initiative will not be limited to youth but will involve society, companies, and organizations, providing encouragement for someone to feel that they can "keep moving forward."
