What is 'Da Capo's Taiyaki'?
'Da Capo' was once a record store in Gotanda loved by many people. They also served taiyaki at that store. The store sadly closed, but the voices longing for its taste never cease. We, TapTap, wanted to let the local community enjoy that nostalgic taste again, so we decided to revive 'Da Capo's Taiyaki' again this Golden Week.
Background and Purpose of the Revival
Our desire is to liven up the town of Gotanda through taiyaki. Under the concept of 'Stand by you,' we aim to provide a community-based place where people can communicate. Through this event, we aim to create a place where local people can easily gather and interact. It used to be said that when you thought of Gotanda, you thought of 'Da Capo's Taiyaki'.
We are very happy that people come from all over the country every year, and local residents are increasingly looking forward to it, saying, 'They're doing it again this year!'
