Ahead of the opening match of the 2025 J1 League season, JTOWER implemented a communication environment upgrade throughout Machida GION Stadium using an indoor infrastructure sharing solution that consolidates the communication facilities of multiple mobile carriers. By utilizing infrastructure sharing, in addition to space and power savings, materials and construction work are reduced, realizing an environmentally friendly and more efficient network environment. Furthermore, the improvement of the communication environment contributes to further enhancing the customer experience value.

JTOWER launched its commercial indoor infrastructure sharing solution in 2014, and since then, the number of properties implementing it has steadily increased across a wide range of categories, including commercial facilities and office buildings, as well as hospitals, government facilities, logistics facilities, arenas, and exhibition halls. In 2020, it completed the development of shared equipment supporting 5G and strengthened its structure by fully initiating implementation, boasting the top track record in Japan with 768 installed properties (number of indoor infrastructure sharing properties installed domestically, including 4G/5G, as of December 2025).

Going forward, as a pioneer in infrastructure sharing, the company will maximize the technology and expertise it has cultivated in the telecommunications field to contribute to the digitization of society.

[What is Infrastructure Sharing]
It is possible to share network facilities, which were previously developed independently by each mobile carrier, through infrastructure sharing. Because the costs for equipment, operation, and maintenance can be reduced compared to independent development by mobile carriers, a more efficient network development can be realized. Furthermore, since power consumption, materials, and the number of construction times can be reduced, it also leads to a lower environmental impact.

[About the Indoor Infrastructure Sharing Solution]
In large buildings with a total floor area exceeding 10,000 square meters, there is a high necessity to prepare an indoor mobile signal environment. By utilizing infrastructure sharing for indoor signal environment development, it provides benefits such as space saving, electricity cost reduction, and single point of contact for real estate businesses; reduction of capital investment and operational costs for mobile carriers; and satisfaction improvement through better communication environments for mobile users.
