However, in practice, the burden of gathering information for judgment has increased due to past defect investigations, condition checks, consultations with experts, and review rejections, leading to situations where operations tend to stall due to "confirmation" rather than "design itself."

Furthermore, while information such as defect databases and technical documents is accumulated within companies, the "inheritance of judgment" – how to interpret this information and connect it to current decisions – has not kept pace, resulting in continued reliance on experienced personnel. This "judgment structure dependent on individuals" leads to a hollowing out of judgment capabilities due to retirement or transfers, variations in judgment quality, and increased opportunities lost and risks due to delayed judgments, which manifest as management risks.

TASTO.navi is being released first for design and quality assurance departments as a decision-making navigation service specializing in the "risk assessment (preliminary risk evaluation)" domain, where a single incident can lead to significant losses.

Its features include reading the background of a consultation request and progressively extracting the company's knowledge from multiple perspectives, such as past defect information, technical documents, and the judgment criteria of experienced personnel. It then presents items to check, potential risks, and countermeasures, supporting the decision-making process. This allows the field staff to proceed with judgments while understanding "what to consider" and "which aspects are easily overlooked," rather than just seeing a list of search results.

As a result, it shortens the time required for searching past cases and consulting with experts, enabling staff to concentrate on design work. It also leads to reduced development time through fewer design revisions, decreased rework due to delayed judgments, and fewer inquiries. Furthermore, by replicating the thought processes of experienced personnel, it suppresses variations in judgment, contributing to improved quality and prevention of recurrence. It also broadens the scope of decisions that junior staff can make independently, thereby enhancing the decision-making capabilities of the entire organization.
