Craftsmanship Festival '2k540 Fanfare -made in Under the Tracks- 2026' to be Held from May 22-24

At '2k540 AKI-OKA ARTISAN', a commercial facility located under the JR tracks between Akihabara and Okachimachi stations with the concept of 'Japanese craftsmanship', a three-day event titled '2k540 Fanfare -made in Under the Tracks- 2026' will be held from Friday, May 22 to Sunday, May 24, 2026, offering visitors a chance to experience and enjoy craftsmanship. ■ The event will feature the perennially popular stamp rally and contest projects, in addition to special events exclusive to this period at each shop. ■ This event will be held concurrently with 'Monomachi 2026' (organized by the Monomachi 2026 Executive Committee), a town event related to craftsmanship in the southern area of Taito Ward, to liven up craftsmanship throughout the area. 【Event Overview】 〇 Dates: May 22 (Fri) - 24 (Sun), 2026, 11:00-19:00 〇 Location: 2k540 AKI-OKA ARTISAN (5-9 Ueno, Taito-ku, Tokyo / under the JR Yamanote Line tracks between Akihabara and Okachimachi stations) 〇 Event HP: https://www.jrtk.jp/2k540/info/detail_00485/ 〇 Organizer: 2k540 Fanfare Executive Committee 2026 〇 Supporter: Taito Ward 【Main Event Lineup】 1. '2k540 Product Idea Contest 2026' A participatory idea contest where you can learn about materials and dedication and draw up fun ideas, made possible by the 'city of craftsmanship'. This is the 5th edition of an event where the challenge spirit of customers and creators leads to new products. This year, to commemorate the 15th anniversary of our opening, we will be accepting ideas from all shops in 2k540 without limiting the brands. *Participation is free. ■ Theme: '15 & Ichigo (Strawberry)' in honor of the 15th anniversary. ■ POINT ① A workshop experience to creatively sketch product ideas! Think like a designer about ideas you'd love to see or that could be commercialized, based on the theme. ■ POINT ② Contest-winning ideas will be commercialized by the shops! Submitted ideas will be judged by the 2k540 shops. Winning ideas will be brought to life by professionals, from design composition to production. '2k540 Quiz & STAMP MAP 2026' The 2026 edition of the project where you can create an original map by collecting stamps from each shop in 2k540. 'Decoration Workshop with Scrap Materials' An event to enjoy decorating using various scrap materials from the shops in 2k540. A fun upcycling workshop to create your original work. 4. '2k540 Flea Market' The 2k540-style flea market returns this year, where creators' special items like tools used in shops, sample products, and materials will be specially sold. A chance to find one-of-a-kind treasures! 5. 'Workshops and Other Shop Events' Each shop will also hold wonderful workshops and events on the day. (e.g., mini wallet making, bargain market, tenugui drawing corner, etc.) Please check each shop's social media and HP for details. 【Collaboration】 Monomachi x 2k540 x LUUP During the 2k540 Fanfare period, 'Monomachi 2026', the sharing service 'LUUP' (by Luup, Inc.) for electric kickboards and e-bikes, and 2k540 will collaborate to offer special services that make it easier to enjoy the area's events.
