ABURAYAMA FUKUOKA's "Dinosaur Adventure Tour" is Born! Part 2 [JR Kyushu Regional Design]

The nationally popular "Dinosaur Adventure Tour" is making its first landing in Fukuoka Prefecture!

Along a course of about 250m following the natural hills of ABURAYAMA FUKUOKA, about 30 dinosaurs of various sizes await.

They move! They roar! A thrilling experience for parents and children with powerful dinosaurs!

There is also a wealth of content where you can learn while playing, such as a fossil excavation experience and a dinosaur exploration using a dedicated app.

Grand opening on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 9:00 AM! Adventure into the world of dinosaurs with the whole family.

Highlights of the "Dinosaur Adventure Tour"

1. An immersive world created by dinosaur models

① They move! They roar! Hyper-realistic giant dinosaurs
A 9m Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops families, and Pteranodon families gather. You're sure to be thrilled by the dinosaurs moving right before your eyes!

② A dinosaur you can only meet at ABURAYAMA FUKUOKA: "Herrerasaurus" appears
A roughly 5m long Herrerasaurus, known as the oldest large carnivorous dinosaur, appears in Fukuoka! Its powerful appearance, which can only be seen here, is a must-see.

2. Learning the "importance of the natural environment" from the age of dinosaurs

The ancient Earth where dinosaurs lived is introduced with easy-to-understand study panels.

Using "Why did the dinosaurs go extinct?" as a starting point, you can have fun learning about modern environmental issues.

3. A learning dinosaur exploration with a dedicated app!

By scanning the QR code next to a dinosaur, it will be registered in the dedicated app's dinosaur encyclopedia. It's an experience where you can learn while playing by completing the encyclopedia and challenging quizzes.

We also have plans that children can enjoy, such as a stamp rally and dinosaur coloring.

4. A thrilling excavation experience with real fossils!

The learning element is further enhanced with an excavation experience using real fossils.

The fossils you discover are yours to keep! You can take them home with your memories.
