Seamless Travel Outside Designated Sections with the Launch of 'Ticketless Plus'
JR Kyushu is launching 'Ticketless Plus', a new add-on short-distance QR ticket for customers using the existing QR ticketless service. This service allows for seamless travel on sections outside the main purchased ticket, eliminating the need for separate IC cards or tickets for connecting local train journeys.

Since its introduction in September 2024, our QR code-based ticketless boarding service ('QR Ticketless') has been used by many customers, thanks to expanding service areas and improved features.
We are now pleased to announce the launch of 'Ticketless Plus,' a short-distance QR ticket available exclusively to customers using the QR Ticketless service. Please take this opportunity to enjoy the increasingly convenient QR Ticketless service.

5. Purchase Conditions
This is a short-distance QR ticket that can be additionally purchased exclusively by customers who have booked a qualifying QR Ticketless product that includes Hakata, Kokura, Saga, Nagasaki/Urakami, or Oita as either the departure or arrival station.
*Qualifying QR Ticketless products that allow the addition of 'Ticketless Plus' are as follows (as of March 26, 2026):
'Kyushu Net Kippu', 'Kyushu Net Hayatoku 3', 'Kamome Net Kippu', 'Kamome Net Hayatoku', 'Watashitachi mo, Kamome. Hayatoku 7.', 'QR Ticketless compatible tickets'.
*'Ticketless Plus' can be purchased for existing reservations made before April 2, 10:00 AM, as long as they meet the purchase conditions.
*'Ticketless Plus' cannot be purchased or used on its own.
*When changing or refunding your travel, both the main 'QR Ticketless Product' and the 'Ticketless Plus' ticket must be processed separately.

You can book 'Ticketless Plus' from the 'Reservation Complete' screen or the 'Reservation Details' screen after booking a qualifying QR Ticketless product.
*The number of 'Ticketless Plus' tickets you can book is limited to the number of tickets in your primary QR Ticketless reservation.

You can board the train using the QR ticket issued after booking 'Ticketless Plus'.
*In addition to using the QR ticket, you can also opt to receive a physical ticket.
